Muko City

In Muko City, which is adjacent to Kyoto City and the smallest city in western Japan, but is filled with rich nature and historical sites, digital art works based on the history and climate of the region will be exhibited at Muko Shrine, which is an important cultural asset.The digital artwork will create a fantastic world of light, images, and sound.

《Altered Perspectives 2022》
An audiovisual installation by musician Marihiko Hara and programmer Ryo Shiraki. The project will reexamine the land from all directions, add imagination to the data and field recordings originating from the land, and attempt to depict another space on the approach to the site through visual and acoustic expression using programming.

Graduated from the Faculty of Education, Kyoto University. Produces sound works using chamber music, field recordings, and electronic sounds, mainly for piano. Released the album 《PASSION》. He has composed music for stage productions such as Hideki Noda's "Faixpia" and Damien Jalet + Kohei Nawa "VESSEL," as well as for the film "Wandering Moon" (director:Sang-il Lee). He received the Encouragement Prize of the Kyoto Prefecture Culture Award in 2021.

Based in Kyoto, Japan, he is active in cross-genre production of video, sound, architecture, etc., using self-made software. He is a member of the artist collective Dumb Type. He has been involved in the production of works by many artists including Shiro Takatani, Ryoji Ikeda, and Kohei Nawa.

The scenery of the Chinju-no Mori forest is discretized and transformed by an optical device consisting of a large number of controlled mirrors.

A group of experimentalists based in Kyoto. Different members gather for each project to explore new forms of expression. In recent years, they have been creating many works using light, such as lighting and projectors. In addition, they also organize the music event INTER+(2019) and direct music artists' distribution and music videos.
